Oak Park & River Forest High School
201 N. Scoville Ave., Oak Park, IL  60302

A Place for All

MISSION: To provide a support group and a place of discussion for those who have been troubled by prejudice involving sexuality. To work towards making our school and community at large accepting of sexually diverse people.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE: APA is a community where open-minded folks can come together to meet, discuss and explore. It provides our school with a safe haven for LGBTQ and allies as well as promotes a safe environment in our school community. It's very supportive in a laid-back sort of way. People here don't judge and nobody is going to think any more or less of you based on your sexuality. There is a real readiness to help and learn about our cause for equality.
